When I started coming here I didn't like who I was. I was unconfident, sarcastic, lazy, and unfocused. But during my time here I've slowly been able to destroy that person, but not in a bad way. I broke myself down so I could build myself back up. Starting fresh I could be the person I wanted to be. Today, when I look in the mirror I like what and who I see. I've learned self-respect, commitment, focus, and pride in everything I set out to do. To me, Taekwondo is a way to change. A way to not settle for where we are but to struggle and build ourselves up to where we want to be.
